Scope: This guarantee applies to all products purchased from The Door Company directly, including a guarantee against warping.
Warping Guarantee: We guarantee all doors and drawer fronts will not warp more than 1/4″ under normal conditions of use and care. This guarantee applies only if the products are constructed according to the recommended instructions specific to the dimension of each product.
Product Specific Dimensions: To qualify for our warping guarantee, any door exceeding the height of 39″ must be 2 panels high. Additionally, any cabinet requiring a door wider than 24″ will be constructed as 2 doors. Therefore, doors ordered above 39″ will automatically be made with 2 panels, and doors wider than 24″ will be made as 2 doors, unless specifically requested as a single panel or door by the customer. If a single panel or door is specified, the guarantee will be null and void.
Duration: This guarantee is valid for 1 year for all products from the date of purchase, except for drawer boxes which are guaranteed for 10 years.
Conditions: To qualify for this guarantee, you must provide proof of purchase, the order number is the case of drawer boxes, and ensure that the product has been used according to the provided instructions. All products must be brought in for inspection.
Remedies: If the product is found to be defective or unsatisfactory within the guarantee period, we will:
- Repair the product at not charge, or
- Replace the product with a similar one
Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care
- Improper storage of product before installation
- Product made outside of our recommended dimensions and conditions
- Products finished by customers
- Hardware
- Products purchased from unauthorized retailers
